KNOXVILLE, TN – The Knoxville Smokies today announced the club’s 2025 promotions and giveaway schedule for home games at Covenant Health Park, the new multi-use stadium in Knoxville’s Old City. The promotional schedule includes 12 giveaway dates, and a team-record 27 fireworks shows. Individual game tickets for all Knoxville Smokies home games will be on sale beginning March 19 at 9:00am online at smokiesbaseball.com or by phone at (865) 286-2300.

The opening series against the Chattanooga Lookouts celebrates the Smokies’ return to Knoxville in an entire ‘Opening Week Extravaganza.’ All five games taking place between April 15-19 will conclude with a postgame fireworks show. The Smokies are encouraging fans to arrive early for the inaugural game inside Covenant Health Park on Tuesday, April 15. Festivities will begin in their plaza at 4:30pm. Every ticketed fan will receive a Clear Tote Bag Giveaway presented by Waste Connections. In addition, every ticketed fan will receive a special Commemorative Ticket as they enter. Gates will open at 5:30pm. This game has a special first pitch time of 7:30pm. Fans can expect the same level of entertainment on Wednesday, April 16 with activities also beginning at 4:30pm and a Clear Tote Bag Giveaway. On Thursday, April 17 the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a ‘Return to Knoxville’ pennant presented by Zips Car Wash. The Knoxville Smokies will take the field for the first time at Covenant Health Park in their light blue alternate jerseys on Friday, April 18. To commemorate the occasion, the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a replica alternate jersey of their own thanks to Advent Electric. In celebration of Easter, fans can meet the Easter Bunny on Sunday, April 20. After the game kids aged 12 and under can participate in an egg hunt on the field featuring 20,000 eggs.

The Smokies’ annual Peanut Free Night presented by The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center will take place April 29. The Smokies have partnered with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for Healthcare Appreciation Nights April 29 through May 1. Healthcare workers will receive a free ticket with proper ID on the day of the game.

Star Wars Night is back on Saturday, May 3. The team will be wearing its first of nine specialty jerseys of the year, with this day’s jersey auction benefiting Covenant Health. The ever-popular Halfway to Halloween will take place on May 4. Kids are encouraged to dress up in costumes and trick-or-treat around the ballpark. The Berenstain Bears will be in attendance for a photo meet-and-greet. New in 2025 will be Peanuts Night on May 17. Charlie Brown and Snoopy will be on site for photos. The first 2,000 people through the gates will also receive a commemorative 75th anniversary bobblehead of either Charlie or Snoopy in a Smokies uniform. The Smokies players will sport Charlie Brown themed jerseys as well. The next day on May 18 will be Law Enforcement Appreciation sponsored by Knoxville Law Enforcement Federal Credit Union. Fans can expect a magical night on Friday, May 30 with Harry Potter Night. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a house scarf, as the players will wear their own Harry Potter specialty jerseys available for auction. On May 31 the stadium will turn into a tropical paradise sponsored by Casey’s with its annual Margaritaville themed baseball game, headlined with a Jimmy Buffett tribute band performance before and after the game by Bary Jolly’s Island Party.

Matt Shaw is the top third base prospect in all of Minor League Baseball and he bagged the 2024 Southern League MVP title while playing with the Smokies. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a bobblehead memorializing his terrific season on June 1. Race into Racing Night on June 5. Meet and Greet with NHRA drivers, and take a photo with actual racing vehicles. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will take home a Smokies themed diecast car. Friday, June 6 will be a royal day with Princesses in the Park featuring appearances by numerous princesses. The fan-favorite 90’s Night, presented by Fox and Farmer Law will take place on June 7 as the players will wear Toy Story jerseys that fans can bid on. Sunday, June 8 will be Splash Sunday, as the Smokies will host a water balloon on the field after the game for kids. Medieval Night will debut at Covenant Health Park on June 27. Before and after the game, fans can cheer on live knight fighting and dueling by Dauntless Armored Combat in the plaza. Covenant Health Park will be playing Taylor Swift songs all game long for Smokies Version Night on June 28. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive an ‘In My Knox Era’ Friendship Bracelet. After the game DJ Swiftie will be performing in the plaza playing Taylor Swift mixes. DJ Swiftie is called the world’s #1 Taylor Swift DJ. The world-renowned Blippi is coming to Covenant Health Park on June 29. Younger fans will love to meet-and-greet with the cheerful and energetic tv personality.

The largest fireworks show of the year will take place on Friday, July 4 for the club’s Independence Day Celebration. The team will don patriotic themed jerseys that will be auctioned off. Spanky Entertainment Dueling Pianos will perform on Thursday, July 10. Discovery Channel will provide nautical fun on July 11 with Discovery Shark Week Celebration at Covenant Health Park. A super day is in store for the Smokies inaugural Marvel Super Hero Night. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Smokies themed Marvel Comic Book. The Smokies players will wear Black Panther specialty jerseys that fans can bid on to win and take home. Children’s book character Pete the Cat comes to the stadium on July 13 for a

meet-and-greet. Christmas in July will take place on July 25. The team will wear holiday themed jerseys that will be auctioned off. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in attendance amongst holiday cheer. A holiday plush will be gifted to the first 2,000 fans that arrive. Wrestling Night returns on July 26. Live wrestling will be held after the baseball game by Piledriver Pro Wrestling. The next day on July 27 the popular cartoon character Peppa Pig will make her way to America’s Friendliest Ballpark to interact with Smokies fans of all ages.
